Cannabis Community College Celebrates 4/20 With ‘Baby Got Bud’ Parody Video and Complimentary Courses

In celebration of 4/20, Cannabis Community College is providing its entire curriculum free of charge for anyone interested in cannabis education or certification to work in the legal market.

Today, leading cannabis education provider Cannabis Community College celebrates the cannabis holiday 4/20 by releasing the parody Baby Got Bud video by “Sir Toke-A-Lot.” The organization is also giving away free cannabis courses and certifications on its platform until the month’s end to empower tomorrow’s industry professionals.

The entire curriculum is available free of charge by using the discount code 420FREE at checkout.

“We wanted to do something fun and different this year to help celebrate the growth of our industry and thought it would be effective to educate through a parody and to offer free education,” said Christi McAdams, founder of Cannabis Community College.

Cannabis Community College (CCC) provides state-specific education enabling students to work in any sector of the legal cannabis industry. Its platform covers state compliance, regulations, standard operating procedures, and much more. All of the courses are taught by leading industry experts who lend their insider knowledge on a variety of topics.

CCC also assists students looking for jobs through its paid intern project. The college has already trained and helped place over 2,000 students nationwide and anticipates boosting that number considerably this year.

“Our industry offers unlimited growth potential to anyone with a good work ethic; therefore, we strive to educate and onboard as many people as we can reach,” McAdams added. “Our focus isn’t on making money — it’s on changing people’s lives.”

Depending on the response, CCC may extend its free course offer indefinitely through the college’s scholarship programs to guarantee quality cannabis education to anyone, regardless of financial ability.

DISCOVERY+ Star Leon Logothetis’ New Book ‘Go Be Brave’: Empowering Mental Health & Self Confidence

DISCOVERY+ Star Leon Logothetis’ New Book ‘Go Be Brave’: Empowering Mental Health & Self Confidence

24¾ Adventures to help the 50 Million Americans Experiencing Mental Health Issues

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, Netflix and Discovery+ host Leon Logothetis will release his new bookGo Be Brave: 24¾ Adventures for a Fearless, Wise, and Truly Magnificent Life. The book encourages readers to fight for their voice and find ways to free themselves from unhealthy labels we tend to place on ourselves and society, including mental health stigmas, bullying, and trauma. His own journey of self-discovery inspires Logothetis’ book as he learned to be brave in order to overcome mental health obstacles in his own life.

His book comes at a crucial time, with over 50 million Americans experiencing a mental health illness. “The key is to be brave,” says Logothetis. “I want readers to know that it is OK not to be OK. It’s OK not always to be strong. Through my years traveling around the world with no money to my name, relying solely on the kindness of strangers, I found that true bravery is when you know you need to ask for help. When we speak our truth.”

Go Be Brave takes readers on 24¾ adventures, with bravery exercises to start becoming more confident and courageous, arming them with the bravery skills to make life what they intended it to be. Leon, who also struggled with years of bullying, trauma, along with mental health issues, serves as the tour guide throughout.

  • Why everyone should get mad: The five lessons of anger, towards understanding that anger is simply fear turned inside out.
  • Learn to say “yes” to adventure, and embrace saying “no” to things that don’t serve you.
  • How finding a bravery buddy is the interpersonal connection we need to experience deep change.
  • Start writing in a “truth diary” – where you get a safe place to finally speak your truth.

Logothetis has made a successful career out of inspiring others around the world through his popular NETFLIX show, The Kindness Diaries (now airing on Discovery+). He believes that bravery isn’t something you either have or don’t have — it’s something you can learn over time with practice and dedication. “It takes courage every day to step into the unknown and speak our truths,” says Logothetis. “But if we do it together, we can all become brave emotional warriors.”

Go Be Brave offers readers an opportunity for transformation by guiding them through steps towards embracing vulnerability and taking risks in order to live with joy rather than fear. By teaching readers how to be brave enough to confront their issues head-on, the book provides a path forward for those struggling with fear and doubt.

Logothetis hopes this book will serve as a beacon of hope for those who feel trapped — giving them back control over their lives by helping them see that they can conquer anything they set their minds on. With Go Be Brave, readers can begin the process of healing while finding strength within themselves along the way.

Since joining Hotel Nikko San Francisco in 2004, Anna Marie envisioned the Manager in Training program at Hotel Nikko as a way to recruit the best and brightest from MSU to give the future generation of the Hospitality Industry an immersive, hands-on experience of working in a luxury property. SEA IDYLLS: a monumental Carole A. Feuerman exhibition on Park Avenue opens in conjunction with a solo gallery retrospective at Galeries Bartoux New York.

From April 27th until the end of this year, Carole A. Feuerman’s iconic swimmers are back in New York City with a monumental exhibition on prestigious Park Avenue and a solo show devoted to the artist’s universe at Galeries Bartoux New York.

OPENING CELEBRATION ON THURSDAY, APRIL 27

MONUMENTAL OUTDOOR PUBLIC EXHIBITION
Beginning at 4:00 pm on April 27, The artist will be present and giving a speech at 101 E 37th Street and Park Avenue. This public exhibition of nine monumental sculptures was made possible by the support of the Patrons of Park Avenue (POPA), the Murray Hill Neighborhood Association (MHNA), the City Of New York, and the Bartoux family. The artworks are installed outdoors on the Park Avenue divide between 34th and 39th Street through the end of 2023. The exhibition is free and open to the public.

HYPER-REALISTIC AND RETROSPECTIVE SOLO SHOW
Beginning at 6:30 pm on April 27, the opening reception of “SEA IDYLLS” at Galeries Bartoux New York – 104 Central Park South will take place. Continuing until December 2023, the gallery exhibition is an interactive experience dedicated to the world of Carole A. Feuerman. This retrospective reveals the artist’s creative process through a faithful reconstruction of her studio, her first sculptures, as well as a selection of exclusive artworks. She is one of the three founders of Hyperrealism, and the only woman to sculpt outdoor hyper-realistic figures. She is known as the Doyenne of the movement.

Going beyond the limits of hyper-realism, discover Feuerman’s sculpture PISCES as she comes to life, (one of the artist’s emblematic works). Thanks to an innovative animated video produced in collaboration with Superbien Studio, experience her at the sea, lulled by the sound of the waves. PISCES becomes more and more real according to the cycle of the sun, from dawn to dusk…at night, she disappears into the sea.

View the short teaser video here.

“This exhibition is not just about art, but about creating a moment of pause and reflection for the viewers.  They are not just swimmers; they tell my stories. They are satisfied with life and moreover, they are survivors.” – Carole A. Feuerman
