Over the past year Kathleen and Katherine Kern, the mother-daughter duo behind Churchill’s Fine Teas, have been collaborating with Charley and Edie Harper’s son, Brett Harper. This collaboration has led to the launch of the Iconic Art Collection, a series of tea-related products featuring the iconic artwork of Charley Harper.

Churchill’s recently launched six new products, which will be available all year round, including three washi-style tea tins and three traditional-style tea tins. The washi-style tea tins include exquisite purist teas from Churchill’s Fine Teas and are inspired by the elegance and simplicity of traditional Japanese washi tea canisters. The traditional style tea tins feature elegant, flavored teas from Churchill’s Fine Teas and draw inspiration from the opulence and craftsmanship of traditional Chinese porcelain tea jars. During the 2022 holiday season the Kerns’ re-imagined their popular tea ornaments, featuring four Charley Harper designs chosen to celebrate wondrous moments in nature.  The seasonal tea ornaments are available until the end of February.

Churchill’s Fine Teas has an exclusive domestic and international license to create new tea-related products using the Harper archives. They have several additional products in the works and look forward to launching more in 2023 and beyond. Kathleen Kern says, “It has been incredibly exciting to review the illustrations of the Harper family and to imagine all the possibilities of how the art and our teas can complement each other. It’s very rewarding to see our ideas and the result of the collaboration come together with these new products, and the customer reactions have been so positive so far!” All of the Iconic Art Collection items are available at both Cincinnati locations as well as their online store, www.churchillsteas.com.

World-renowned artist Vladimir Kush unveiled a new Metaphor of Love masterpiece titled “Awakening” — Oil on Canvas (23″x17″). This is one of the artist’s “floral motif” paintings alongside some of his previous best sellers such as New Day, Miracle of Birth, Morning Blossom, and Sunset Stillness. 

The artist released a Limited-Edition Giclee on Canvas (22″x16.5″) of this artwork to his collectors and art enthusiasts, taking the market by storm just a few weeks before Valentine’s Day and his anticipated exhibit at Art Wynwood in Miami. This new print by the artist has made a connection with the public, bridging the gap between Dreams and Metaphorical Reality. 

In a combination of world mythology, fairy tales, and poetry, Kush explains the symbolism and meaning behind his art. “In the Western tradition, the rose is the perfect model of a flower, a symbol of the heart, of the center of the universe, of the cosmic wheel and, of course, an emblem of divine, romantic and passionate love.

“At the forefront in the painting, we see a rose in full bloom, its petals turning out eagerly towards the rising sun — a motion resembling that of a beautiful woman waking up in the morning. It is reinforced by the surrounding sister-buds quietly waiting in readiness to unfold in similar glory. This upward thrust, to join sunshine and love, is set against the backdrop of the contrastingly still oval of the lake. And the shape of the half-opened budding flower head becomes a goblet filled with the elixir of everlasting life.”

Stellar NYC widens its network of young talents with its new Influencer board to cater to the social media marketing needs of its growing client base.

Stellar NYC, founded by licensed talent agent Stella Roman in 2014, has always sought to fill gaps in the talent industry. Aside from representing kids in the areas of Print, Commercial, and Theater (On-screen), its fourth board—Inclusive—was born because of the lack of representation for children with disabilities. 

“I still remember receiving that email from a parent – so upset – saying she wishes children who use wheelchairs like her son were more represented in ads. Right then, I knew that pushing for more inclusivity in the industry was something I had to do,” Roman recalled.  

Now, the upsurge of social media marketing and content creators has prompted the agency to dedicate a fifth division for managing ‘mini-influencers’ and their parents/families on various online platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Some of the influencers under the care of Stellar NYC are well-known family and lifestyle content creators @AmazingAbigailGrace@Kikioella, and @zhansayadixon, who have audiences ranging from thousands to millions of followers.

Influencer division head and social media manager Em Meagher manages these talents with her extensive experience as a digital influencer herself and hopes to deliver success similar to previous and ongoing projects of the company. 

Stellar NYC is the agency representing the young boy who uses a wheelchair and went viral after being placed in a 2020 Target ad and later was invited as a guest on the Kelly Clarkson Show. The talent agency has also booked kids on projects with top brands such as GAP, NIKE, and Steve Madden, as well as secured its talented actors work on top network shows and movies featured on Netflix, Disney+ and HBO.
