KAPOLEI, Hawaii – November 18, 2022 – (Newswire.com)

Heather Tuttle, a licensed clinical social worker and psychotherapist who earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from the University of Utah, has completed her new audiobook “With My Hand in His”: a powerful account detailing how the author placed her faith and trust in the Lord during her and her family’s darkest moments.

“I believe Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us, a syllabus of sorts,” writes Tuttle. “Part of his plan includes facing unimaginable trials, things we would exclaim we could never do, never endure. It is with and through these challenges that if we allow, God grows and strengthens us, giving us power to endure and making us more than we thought we could be. Each challenge acts as a springboard, which moves us to another level of ability in forgiveness, patience, faith, empathy, gratitude, humility, prayer, and so many more attributes and skills.

“This book contains my stories of trial, faith, and miracles in my son Jonah’s fight to live and heal after a life-threatening traumatic brain injury, which left him in a coma. It also contains those earlier experiences of my life that the Lord used to build my abilities to endure, strengthen my relationship with Him, and teach me how He moves and communicates with me in my life.

“Whoever said God doesn’t give us anything we can’t handle was so very wrong! We are given many things we couldn’t possibly endure without our Heavenly Father walking beside us, guiding us, and strengthening us to bear those things we couldn’t possibly imagine we could. These stories are of my very profound and tender walk with the Lord with my hand in His.”

Published by Audiobook Network, author Heather Tuttle’s new audiobook explores the strength and courage granted to the author throughout various moments in her life thanks to her faith and trust in the Lord. Despite the challenging trials she faced, Tuttle reveals how she was able to overcome it all with her family by her side and her devotion to her ultimate protector, God.

Author Kay Onda’s New Book ”Keith” is a Stunning Expose on the U.S. Military and How They Investigate Military Members’ Deaths

Author Kay Onda’s New Book ”Keith” is a Stunning Expose on the U.S. Military and How They Investigate Military Members’ DeathsRecent release “Keith” from Covenant Books author Kay Onda is a gripping story that examines the life and circumstances surrounding the death of the author’s son after his passing while serving in the U.S. Navy was ruled a suicide by an internal investigation. Using his son’s story, Onda calls for change within the military to protect those who give so much to serve their country.

NEW YORK – November 18, 2022 – (Newswire.com)

Kay Onda, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in foreign language education and enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with family, has completed his new book, “Keith”: an eye-opening account of the tragedy surrounding the death of the author’s son, and the questions that remain to this day.

“Keith” is about the first child of our family. “He had a generous spirit, a kind and loving soul, and a strong faith in God,” writes Onda. He chose to join the navy to spare the family college expenses, which would have been a hardship for the family. He chose to work on ship engines. He received ‘Sailor of the Month’ award in 2005. Keith was assigned to the USS Champlain at the time. He detected a faulty engine part that could have caused a fire.

“In August 2012, our family received tragic news that Keith had committed suicide.” We as a family were never given a thorough opportunity to ask and delve into Keith’s death. According to a few generous individuals, there were signs at Keith’s death scene that indicated otherwise.

“This is one case among many US service people’s deaths that are so sudden and so unexplained. There needs to be a revamping of the military justice system. More independent investigators need to look into these deaths. What factors can be looked at other than the bias of a military investigator’s list on what constitutes a murder? The nation gives its children to serve and defend our country. It must be the military’s responsibility to look after our loved ones who give their lives to serve and protect, as well as being held accountable for the investigation and true explanation behind their deaths.”

Published by Covenant Books of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina, Kay Onda’s new book calls upon those in power to fix the broken system that allows injustices within the military to continue. A raw and honest novel, readers will discover what many military families experience and the confusion and hurt experienced by families whose children are not protected by those in power.

Readers can purchase “Keith” at bookstores everywhere, or online at the Apple iTunes Store, Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

Author Terry Godfrey’s New Audiobook ‘Kaah Taak’in’ is a Stirring Narrative Following an Oppressed People Whose New Peaceful Society Quickly Becomes Transformed by Sin

Author Terry Godfrey’s New Audiobook ‘Kaah Taak’in’ is a Stirring Narrative Following an Oppressed People Whose New Peaceful Society Quickly Becomes Transformed by SinRecent audiobook release ‘Kaah Taak’in’ from Audiobook Network author Terry Godfrey follows a group of people known as the Taak’inal who find themselves on a journey to discover a safe haven from their former oppressors. Now in a new city of their own creation, generations of immorality turn this new utopia into a dangerous den of greed, threatening the peace they fought so hard to develop.

ANADARKO, Okla. – November 18, 2022 – (Newswire.com)

Terry Godfrey, who worked at Caddo Electric for over 42 years and whose community leadership includes helping with Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and Rotary International, has completed his new audiobook “Kaah Taak’in”: a thrilling tale that follows a group of people who must find refuge after escaping their homeland and tyrannical ruler.

“A large band of young adults flee from the only home they have known,” writes Godfrey. “They are led by the third son of their demanding ruler. The people are pursued for a time by their ruler. Later, they are confronted by many adversaries. The Taak’inal, as they call themselves, must walk for over a year before they find a location to build their new home. Upon this path, they face not only many enemies but also harsh weather and elements they had never before encountered.

“Along the way, the Taak’inal learned to work together in harmony and enjoy what they have. The leader Erdrich, the son of the old ruler, grows into a trusted and loved ruler. He puts the needs and comforts of his people before his own desires.

“Once they arrive at the location on the plains, they build a great city. Again, they must face enemies as they complete the construction of a city lined with gold. Together they are strong and content with their lives.

“As the people that had left their homes from tyranny grow old and die, the younger generation takes over. Within a couple generations, the happiness and harmony is replaced with greed, immorality, and laziness. This leads to the total downfall of the civilization and eventually the total collapse of the once great city their forefathers had created.”

Terry Godfrey’s new audiobook is a thought-provoking exploration of the ravages of greed and how it can quickly erode the foundation of a healthy and harmonious society. Full of unique characters and a fully realized world, “Kaah Taak’in” is an unforgettable tale that is sure to remain with listeners long after its powerful conclusion.

Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne by Katherine Rundell

LONDON – November 17, 2022 – (Newswire.com)

Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne by Katherine Rundell has been named winner of the Baillie Gifford Prize for Non-Fiction 2022. The winner was announced by Chair of Judges Caroline Sanderson at a ceremony hosted at the Science Museum and generously supported by The Blavatnik Family Foundation. The announcement was streamed to readers around the world via the Baillie Gifford Prize social media channels.

Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne gives readers a window into the little-known myriad lives the poet John Donne lived. He was a scholar of law, a maritime adventurer, an MP, a priest, the Dean of St Paul’s Cathedral – and perhaps the greatest love poet in the history of the English language. Standout scholar Katherine Rundell shows readers the many sides of his life, his obsessions, his blazing words, and his tempestuous Elizabethan times – unveiling Donne as the most remarkable mind and as a lesson in living.

Katherine Rundell is a Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, where she works on Renaissance literature. Her bestselling books for children have been translated into more than 30 languages and have won multiple awards. Rundell is also the author of a book for adults, Why You Should Read Children’s Books, Even Though You Are So Old and Wise. She has written for, among others, the London Review of Books, the Times Literary Supplement, the New York Review of Books and The New York Times, largely about books, though sometimes about animals, night climbing and tightrope walking.

The Baillie Gifford Prize aims to recognise and reward the best of non-fiction and is open to authors of any nationality. It covers all non-fiction in the areas of current affairs, history, politics, science, sport, travel, biography, autobiography and the arts. As the winner, Rundell will receive £50,000 along with the £1,000 given to each of the shortlisted authors. Last year’s winner was Patrick Radden Keefe for Empire of Pain, which became a Sunday Times bestseller.

Super-Infinite: The Transformations of John Donne was chosen by this year’s judging panel: writer and Associate Editor of The Bookseller, Caroline Sanderson (chair); writer and science journalist, Laura Spinney; critic and writer for The Observer, Rachel Cooke; BBC journalist and presenter, Clive Myrie; author and New Yorker writer, Samanth Subramanian; and critic and broadcaster, Georgina Godwin. Their selection was made from 362 books published between 1 Nov. 2021 and 31 Oct. 2022.

The other titles on this year’s shortlist were:

Author / translator (Nationality)

Title (Imprint)
